EMOTIONAL AND BEHAVIORAL PROBLEMS AMONG ADOLESCENTS IN JODHPUR CITY

Adolescents are highly vulnerable to psychiatric disorders. This study aimed explore the emotional and behavioral problems in adolescents. A community-based exploratory survey was conducted between November December 2019. Cluster sampling done. 300 adolescents in12 18 years of age group from different randomly related areas Jodhpur city were involved study. Emotional assessed by using a self-structured problem questionnaire. Inform consent assent taken before filling questionnaire Descriptive inferential statistics applied for analysis. SPSS version 16 used data analysis.Emotional more prevalent population. Nearly 41% participant falls under borderline category 1.33% i.e. 4 severe comparatively less prevalent. 21.66% has level only one found have problem. The domains higher mean value than behavioral. number siblings significantly associated with problems. These suggest that there is need mental health services
